Opening Position for Assistant Service Manager

Computer Protection Technology’s (CPT) Service Department has an opening for an Assistant Service Manager in our Escondido, CA headquarters.

CPT, Inc. has a 34-year presence in the Southern California area servicing power protection equipment in critical operation facilities and data centers.  Due to our ongoing growth we are looking to add an Assistant Service Manager.

Assistant Service Manager Job Responsibilities:

Maximizes service capabilities by assisting existing Service Manager at Power Protection Equipment provider.

Assistance Service Manager Job Duties:

  • Scheduling and coordinating service work for Field Service Technicians.

  • Managing basic service calls regarding maintenance and/or emergency service calls.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge via on-the-job training and experience; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Willing to manage last-minute emergencies and remedial service requests of customer at odd and off hours (on an as-needed basis).

Technical Support Specialist Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of customer service interaction and proper decorum in representing the organization.

  • Able to learn and develop skills with a strong ability to take direction from the Service Manager.

  • Problem solving attitude.

  • Basic computer skills (Windows Excel, Word, Google maps, Microsoft Exchange, etc.).
