Open Position for Logistics Assistant

Computer Protection Technology’s (CPT) Service Department has an opening for a Logistics Assistant in our Escondido, CA headquarters.

CPT, Inc. has a 34-year presence in the Southern California area servicing power protection equipment in critical operation facilities and data centers.  Due to our ongoing growth we are looking to add a Logistics Assistant.

Logistics Assistant Job Responsibilities:

Maximizes logistics capabilities by assisting existing Service & Logistics Manager at Power Protection Equipment provider.

Logistics Assistant Job Duties:

  • Inventory management and control at Escondido warehouse.

  • Manage material loading & unloading at our Shipping & Receiving department.

  • Assistance in inside delivery and removal of power protection equipment at customer locations throughout Southern California.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Willing to participate in last-minute emergency logistics needs of customer at odd and off hours (on an as-needed basis).

Logistics Assistant Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of customer service interaction and proper decorum in representing the organization.

  • Able to learn and develop skills with a strong ability to take direction from the Service & Logistics Manager.

  • Possesses sufficient health and strength for lifting heavy objects with safety being the priority.

  • Problem solving attitude.
